Thanks. I will try this. How does this affect the page search ranking? I used a masked forward (that was the option in Yahoo domain hosting that hides the blogspot address)so hope this doesn't affect my search engine ranking.

Thanks for your tutorial, but I still having a problem and I been looking everywhere without finding an answer. When I try to redirect my blog from http://mydomain.com to http://wwwmydomain.com it tells me another blog is hosted at that address. I get most of the time a 404 message when I type the www. it kind of goes on and off.
I have been looking on blogger help and forums for over 2 months now without getting help.

Finally, success! Following your instructions, I succeeded, after literally months of frustration. Thank you very much for your help. I cannot for the life of me understand why Blogger and Google Apps do not provide this information up-front. I think sometimes Google uses the word 'Beta' to cover up sloppiness and lack of attention to detail. Blogger should be integrated with Apps for Your Domain by default, not by massive user effort, research, and tinkering. But then, I guess this is what separates the geeks from the nerds.

Well Blogger sucks more and more every day. Today bx-f42977 error code is the new one. it's impossible to remove the blog (WTF!!!) or to come back to your custom domain

Just amazing! Thank you very much for your help. I posted in your other post a comment stating that this took me five minutes with your help, and I spent around twenty four hours asking GoDaddy & Blogger and still was getting no where (or getting into a deeper hole). Like I said, you will be thanked in my next blog post.
