If you have recently made changes to your blog's publishing settings from a blogspot address to a custom domain, and you are receiving a 404 error, try switching the publishing settings back to blogspot and then back to your custom domain again.

I keep waiting and waiting and still can't get my domain to take me to my blogspot site. I bought the domain name on the Jan. 22, I believe.
I've done all that I know to do. Any other suggestions? Is there any way I can contact google do you know??

Hi Raymond I have the same problem, I just bought my domain too, bu it wont take to me to blogspot.
My domain is http://retchelsonlinebuzz.com and
my blogspot is http://retchelsonlinebuzz.blogspot.com
Actually this will be my two times getting a domain and switching it from blogspot but the first one was working on the very first day and I remember before that everytime I log-on to my blogger it says uner transition and i can see both my domain and blogspot so I just click the domain directly. But this time , no transition message appear on the screen when i log-on my blogger account...I wonder why..

i bought a custom domain through Blogger on February 21.
i didn't change anything yet on my dns settings because i don't know what it is about.
i bought http://bibombio.com
while my blogspot address is http://bibombio-says.blogspot.com
i received only error 404 page not found on my new domain.
My blogspot address didnt redirect to my domain as well. Do i need to made this quick fix too?

Raymond - I need some help! After much toiling and tweaking I was finally able to get my blog up with a custom domain name and the "www" actualy was working as well. Less than a week later I suddenly get the Error 404 page when trying to access my site online. Eveything works fine in the profile and I can preview but it won't go live. I hadn't touched any settings when it went down. Embarassing as I just announced the site to several people..please help if you can www.thedugoutchat.com Thanks!
I have a problem with blogger. I bought a domain name and when I try and use it on blogger it tells me that my domain is being hosted on another blog! I am SO frustrated and wish I spent the 10 bucks for a google domain name on a nice large iced coffee or something. There is no tech support on how to fix this and it is driving me crazy. What am I doing wrong. I have also disabled all of my google apps and it still wont work. PLEASE help me!
When did you buy your domain name?? You'll find that you have to wait for your domain name to take effect. It takes a few days for that to happen. Be patient and try it again in a few days. Let me know how that works or if you have more problems. Will try to help.

Actually, i am afraid to do that again. This is the second domain I bought, which means I wasted $20 already. I don't want to switch back to blogspot and switch back again to my custom domain because the last time that I did it, when i try to switch back to my custom domain the error message tells me that "the domain is already hosted" on blogspot.
What can I do? Others seem to have much luck about purchasing the domain from blogger. I on the other hand got unlucky twice.
PLLease I need help. My site is nowhere to be found now, even if the old blogspot adress will be put.. which is http://abc-bloglearning.blogspot.com
The two domains i purchased are:
www.webloglearning.com and
www.webbiestuffs.com
These two were purchased last June 6 and June 27, respectively.

24 hours of having made the changes in Godaddy ( the Total DNS Control stuff )
My Domain Names does not call my blogspot. I know that I have to wait. But how many days ????????
This is very irritating. I can not imagine that Internet is so primitive and that the Total DNS stuff is Stone Age or Stonehenge.
